25th Workshop of the IIS-CED at Bad Soden
May 5-6, 2022
Not long ago, our 2nd virtual IIS-CED symposium was a great success with brilliant talks and discussions.
Now, the focus is already on the next IIS-CED meeting in 2022. As the planning of the organizing committee started, it was decided to get back to a face-to-face meeting to foster the discussion and meeting culture. As we do not want to break with the old beloved tradition, as place the lovely well known Bad Soden location was chosen.
The organisation committee would like to invite you on behalf of the International Isotope Society – Central European Division – to the 25th IIS-CED Workshop on May 5th and 6th.

The focus of the workshop is the synthesis and application of isotopes and isotopically labelled compounds in all research disciplines. Amongst the topics to be covered are: New methods in synthetic organic chemistry relevant to isotopic labelling, applications of radioactive and stable isotopically labelled compounds in research and biosciences, PET chemistry, new trends in analytics and measuring techniques, radioactive storage management and waste disposal.
The organizing committee would like to encourage everybody to actively participate at this year’s face-to -face meeting. We would highly encourage PhD students, postdocs and young researchers to send in abstracts. Therefore, the meeting will take place in the form of invited oral presentations.
Detailed information regarding the conference program and registration will follow in one of the next communications.
Of course, we will prepare a hygiene concept adequate to the corona situation relevant to this time. We will inform you about possible changes as soon as possible.
Best regards to you all,
The organizing committee
Ralf Kiesling, Dieter Muri, Thorsten Poethko, Dietrich Seidel
